What is the process of palm oil clarification?

Through the four steps, 45%-55% moisture, sludge and other impurities in the crude palm oil will be removed, and you will get more clear and with higher quality red palm oil, the purity of which can reach up to 90%.

1. Settling step in palm oil clarification process

The settling tank can make the heavy impurities such as mud and sand in the palm oil to sink to the bottom of the settling tank by gravity, and the clear red palm oil on the top of the settling tank is skimmed off.

2. Screening step in palm oil clarification process

It will use eddy-vibrating screen. The aperture of the screen in eddy-vibrating screen is very small, which can filter out fine mud, sand and impurities, further improving the quality of red palm oil.

3. Filtering step in palm oil clarification process

In filtering step, the plate filter is often used to make sure to remove the final impurities in the red palm oil. After filtering, you will get high quality red palm oil. But in it, there is a little moisture, which will influence the storage of red palm oil.

4. Drying step in palm oil clarification process

Continuous vacuum drying system removes water from crude palm oil, so that the moisture content can reduces to as low as 0.1%.
