In biodiesel production, raw material(vegetable oil) occupy 75% of the whole investment. As the cheapest vegetable oil, palm oil is the best material for biodiesel production.
Palm oil for biodiesel production is same with other usages. Crude palm oil derived from palm fruit is enough for biodiesel production. But refined palm oil would increase biodiesel production rate comparing with crude palm oil. This depends on your local conditions.
If edible oil is much more befinitful than biodiesel, refined palm oil had better be used in edible oil industry for more benefits.
