1) Technology: Palm oil refining includes four steps: degumming, deacidification, decolorization, and deodorization. For batch palm oil refining machine, the main equipment are refining tank, declorization tank, deodorization tank. It is batch by batch. But for the continuous palm oil refining machine the main euqipment are continuous deacidificartion & decolorization tower and continuous degumming & deodorization tower. 2) Specifications of crude palm oil: Normally the acid value less than 10-20 can be used for the batch oil refining machine. If more than 20 acid value, the most final product will be soap stock and less refined oil.

Normally, the optimal choice about batch type palm oil refining machine and continuous palm oil refining machine depends on several factors, including the production capacity, the final cooking oil grade, the budget and the final products do you want to get.

3) Grade of final refined oil: Depending on the same crude palm oil, the grade of batch palm oil refining machine is grade two or grade three, and continuous palm oil refining machine is grade one.

4) Oil loss & oil yield: The continuous palm oil refining machine has the lower oil loss and higher oil yield.

5) Operation: Continuous palm oil refining machine has less work, due it is more automatic than batch palm oil refining machine.

6) Machine cost: Continuous palm oil refining machine is higher cost than batch palm oil refining machine.
